About Me

Rachel Gray Photos highlights my work as a senior Human Services student at the University of Delaware with a concentration in Social Work and Counseling. Although I have not taken a photography class before, I am excited to showcase my work and enhance my photography skills and creativity throughout this class. My experience includes my term as the VP of Community Relations for a Greek Life organization, and my job included organizing photoshoots, creating an aesthetic vision for social media, and editing photos.  I love traveling, cooking, and being creative. In my free time. I enjoy cooking taking photos of what I've created, and capturing life's moments in general. I look forward to sharing some of these moments this semester.

Ethically Evaluative By: Linh Yoshimura

I selected this photo as an Ethically Evaluative photograph because this image captures an elderly woman injured by a U.S.-Vietnamese air strike on a being carried to be taken care of. This photo fits this category because it demonstrates a sense of patriotism and pride towards helping another individual in need of support or care.

Theoretical By: Remedios Varo

Because this piece features elements of conceptual art, I find that it falls under the Theoretical category of art. It is not a traditional photo, it includes elements of photography mixed with modern creativity and alterations that allow for us to view this piece theoretically.
